About the Conference
National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) is organising National Conference on Menstrual Health Rights on 20th and 21st March 2020.
The Centre for Human Rights has been established at NUALS to stimulate discussions on the concept of human rights and how the law can be used in the service of human rights. Notwithstanding the current legal and institutional framework to protect and promote human rights, human rights violations continue to be reported demonstrating the shortfalls in the existing system.
This scenario underscores the need for continued efforts to develop a culture of human rights accompanied by legal initiatives upholding human rights.
