About the Organisers

Co-Draft's Finishing School of Law CourseCo-Draft Academy of Law is a legal education organization based in Chennai. Started in January 2016, Co-Draft has organised numerous workshops, seminars, and courses on legal research, legal drafting, drafting of pleadings, drafting of writs, etc.

About the Workshop

Aim: The workshop aims at helping students learning the basics of legal drafting, especially drafting legal notices, reply notices, plaints, and written statements.

Duration and timings of the workshop: November 8 and 9; 10 am to 5 pm on both the days.

Resource Person: Mrs. Maheshwary Mohan, started her career as a lawyer in 1993. She has been a partner at King and Patridge, a leading law firm in Chennai (1998-2006), and has since started her own law firm M & M Associates (2006-present). She’s the founding director of Codraft- Institute for Legal Drafting.

Certificates will be provided by Lawctopus and Co-Draft Academy of Law to students who complete the workshop successfully.

Pedagogy: The workshop will be conducted in a lecture mode and supplemented by many practical exercises, regular feedback, and interactive sessions.

We’ll also be issuing reading material after the registrations are over.

We are limiting the number of ‘topics’ we want to teach to ensure that we don’t sacrifice quality for quantity.

Boarding and Lodging
