South Asia Students for Liberty Colloquium @ K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai [Feb 17]: Apply by Feb 15

South Asia Students for Liberty invites you for our Colloquium at K.J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai on 17th February 2018.

Venue: K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering.

Time: 9:30 a.m

This is the second time the topic is being discussed in Mumbai, so don’t miss this chance!

Class Struggle and Individual Liberty is a Socratic seminar on a reader exploring the compatibility of socialist values with free market means. State-socialism throughout history has failed miserably and alienated people to the value of equality and scepticism of corporate exploitation. Is it possible to achieve these without using the means of collective violent revolution?

Come join us for this amazing discussion among a highly intellectual group of students!

About SFL Colloquia:

How often have you watched a debate and felt, ‘both sides have some valid points if only they stopped trying to prove each other wrong and tried to listen’. The nature of a debate is competitive and oppositional with both sides trying to prove each other wrong.

An SFL Colloquium is a collaborative, cooperative dialogue in which multiple sides work toward a shared understanding.

Dialogue assumes that many people have pieces of answers and that cooperation can lead to a greater understanding. It creates an open-minded attitude; an openness to being wrong and an openness to change while respecting other participants.

Note : The last date to register has been extended to 15th February 2018.

There are a limited number of seats hence register here at the earliest.

All participants will be provided a certificate from Students for Liberty.
