First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
Since everything was online because of the pandemic I was welcomed in the WhatsApp group of interns where I introduced myself along with the other new interns who have had just joined in. It was a great feeling to be part of the group.
The old interns who were working with ma’am explained to me how the internship is going to be and what was the current work they were doing. Along with this, I was also information about the various works, groups and tasks which I was supposed to undertake as a intern.
During my first day, ma’am also held a meeting in the evening wherein the work which interns are supposed to do was discussed.
During the period of internship, I was involved in the following works:
- Help with research on various cases and other legal situations.
- Researched specified topics as and whenever required.
- Worked with the Editing Team.
- Worked with the Social Media Team.
- Worked with the YouTube Team.
- Helped in the drafting of RTI along with other formatting work.
- Helped in miscellaneous work for webinars and other events.
- Extensive research on ostensible property.
The great thing I noticed about this internship is the teamwork and the spirit of everyone. Everyone was involved in working together and helping each other. Whenever I needed help, I could simply message either on the group or one of the old interns, and they helped me with all my queries. Furthermore, the work was interesting yet easy to do.
The meetings which ma’am regularly conducted helped me to understand the real-life situation. Along with this, the task assigned was specially related to the real workings of the real world which in turn helped me a lot.
There were no bad things as such, however, the only thing which I was pretty upset about was bad that since the internship was virtual my learning was not as much as it could have been if it would have been an offline internship.
This internship was a more fruitful experience for me in comparison to all of my previous online internships. Ma’am reminded all of us of very basic things which we often forget however things that hold much value in all of our life.
Accommodation, Commuting to office
It was working from home, so no commuting to the office was present.
