International Journal of Human Rights Committee of Noida International University invites Research papers, Book Reviews and Case Studies for possible inclusion in the 2019 issue of the Journal relating to Human Rights, Law, Political Science or any other related field.
The journal is peer reviewed and accepted papers may be invited for presentation in the Seminars and Conferences held at the University premises.
However, it may be noted that timely submission of the papers is critical to the scheduled publication of the journal. The procedure and time table given below apply.
Abstract: We request submission of around 300-500 words abstract of the paper by 31st March 2019. This should include an abstract, a short description of the topic, brief literature survey (optional), case citations in case of law, the proposed research approach or theoretical framework.
Author information: The proposal should carry in bold, 12-point size, Times New Roman, the contact information (Title, full name, complete postal address, phone numbers with STD or ISD codes where applicable, email id) of the author at the bottom of the proposal.

Abstract Acceptance: The number of accepted papers may be limited as per the discretion of the Committee which will inform the authors of the acceptance or rejection of the proposals by 15 April 2019.
Paper Submission: Complete papers will have to be submitted by 30th April 2019 in the following typeset and format:
- Main Heading in Times New Roman, 14 point-size bold face
- All sub-headings in Times New Roman, 12 point-size bold face
- All content in Times New Roman, 12 point-size
- Only APA format referencing to be done (no footnotes, please)
Peer Review: The papers will be reviewed and where changes are suggested, they would be sent back to the authors.
Final Submission: It is expected that by 31st July 2019 the authors will revert to the Committee with the final papers with all suggestions incorporated.
Originality Declaration: It is mandatory for all authors to attach the Originality Declaration with the first draft of the papers. Papers found lacking on this count will be rejected and submissions by the authors of these will not be entertained in the future either.
Length of paper: Papers must not be more than 10,000 words long.
Copyright: Authors will need to sign a declaration allowing the copyright to publish or use their paper for research purposes in the future.
All papers selected for the NIUIJHR 2019 would be scrutinised for a Research and Academic Excellence Best Paper Award which carries a Certificate to the effect. The criteria for judging would be as follows:
- Originality of ideas
- Contribution to current knowledge
- Social relevance of the findings
- Thorough treatment of the topic chosen
