LLS’ Career Workshop on CVs, Cover Letters, Internships [May 8-9; 7-8.30 PM]: All Proceeds to Hemkunt Foundation for COVID Relief

Lawctopus Law School is hosting a 2-day career workshop on May 8 and 9.

All the money generated from this workshop will be donated to Hemkunt Foundation, which is doing excellent COVID relief work.

We are offering this workshop on a gift-economy basis (pay-what-you-can model), and you can contribute any amount to register for this workshop (Rs. 9-1 crore).

The suggested donation amount is Rs. 600.

The minimum amount is Rs. 9, as that’s the minimum amount accepted by the Hemkunt Foundation on their donation page.

We encourage students to sign-up in large numbers! Every small effort counts.

We also urge lawyers, law firms, and senior professionals and academicians to make a generous contribution. You don’t need to attend the workshop to make a donation!

SPEAKER

The workshop will be taken by our CEO Tanuj Kalia.

He did his BA LLB (Hons.) degree from NUJS, Kolkata, in 2013 and went on to do an MA in Law, Politics, and Society from Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD).

He has written the book ‘Law as a Career‘ (LexisNexis, 2015), where his research involved (among other things) conducting 50+ interviews with various legal professionals.

He headed the Placement Committees both at NUJS and AUD in 1st year and has helped dozens of lawyer offices, NGOs, law firms, and corporates with their recruitment needs as the CEO at Lawctopus.

He’s a TEDx speaker and regularly speaks at various fora on topics around entrepreneurship, blogging, and careers.
