Here is Prof. Basheer’s answer:

I would strongly recommend that you gain some work experience before doing an LLM.

It helps you appreciate the LLM better and provides a much needed break after from studies (after all it must be exhausting after 5 long years of continuous study!).

Also given that you;re doing IP law, I would strongly suggest some practical exposure to how IP regimes work on the ground before you set off for an LLM.
