Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Name of the course and year of study

B.A. LL. B (Hons.) | 1st year

Name and address of the organisation

The Juris Centre – Since this is a website providing legal news, legal and publication opportunities and the internship was virtual, so the address isn’t applicable.

Duration of internship

From: 06/09/2021 Till: 28/09/2021

How did you apply for the internship?

I applied for the internship through LinkedIn where Juris Centre had posted the vacancy for the same.

First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression

I received a mail confirming my internship and was provided a number through which I’ll be receiving my tasks.

All further communication was made through WhatsApp. I was provided basic instructions about the role of a campus ambassador on the first day, how things will work, and the nature and time period of the tasks.

Main Tasks

The main task was to circulate Juris Centre’s promotional messages as and when they were shared.

I was provided a referral code that I needed to attach with my messages so that those who bought courses from Juris Academy or got their paper published with Juris Centre would get a discount.

Work Environment

The internship was virtual, regardless, the virtual work environment was accommodative and flexible.

The work pressure wasn’t much which made it easier to continue along with other curricular and co-curricular activities.

Good Things

It helped me in enhancing communication skills, engaging in meaningful discussions, and building strong professional connections.

Bad Things

It did not provide me with any skills that were related to enhancing my legal knowledge or capabilities.

The stipend was provided according to how many persons utilized our referral code.

Details about accommodation and commute

Not applicable as the internship was virtual and hence the only relevant infrastructure required was one’s presence on social media and good internet connectivity.

Anything else?

This was a good experience as it provided me the opportunity to enhance my communication and leadership skills.

Network and engage in meaningful discussions, and build strong connections.
