Call for Papers: UGC Sponsored National Seminar on Women, Violence and Law [Dec 5-6, 2014]; Submit by Sept 20

The Women Harassment Prevention Cell (WHPC) of Netaji Subhas Open University is going  to organize Two-Days UGC-DEB Sponsored National Seminar on ‘Women, Violence and Law: An Intimate Interrogation’.

Interested scholars are requested to send abstracts in word file (200-250 words) with  keywords (4-6) to the following email id: within September 20, 2014.

All abstracts are to be reviewed in an unbiased way and the final list of papers selected for presentation will be made available on the website:

Scholars are requested to clearly mention their full name, designation, institutional affiliation, contact number and email id in the abstract.

The decision of the Organising Committee regarding paper selection will be final and binding. Only those candidates whose abstracts are accepted will be allowed to present full papers at the seminar. Once the abstract is accepted, participants will have to pay their requisite

Registration Fees.

A. Academicians, Professionals (University and Colleges): Rs. 1000/-

B. Research Scholars: Rs. 750/-

C. Students: Rs. 500/-

It is to be noted that mode of payment of Registration Fees and Procedure of Registration will be communicated to the selected paper presenters through email and university website in due time.
