Harvard Business Law Review (HBLR) is inviting submissions for U.S Law, International Law, and the domestic laws of countries, students, academicians, or and all members of the Business Law community.

About HBLR

Harvard Business Law Review (HBLR) is A Harvard Law School’s student run law review that annually publishes a print journal. The online journal reviews shorter submissions and publishes articles on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year.

The HBLR and HBLR Online aim to be the premier sources for articles concerning laws governing business organization and capital markets. Articles by scholars, practitioners, and policymakers on corporate law and governance, securities and capital markets law, financial regulation and financial institutions, law and finance, financial distress and bankruptcy, and related subjects are published. The HBLR Online is particularly focused on publishing more brief and timely articles.


Articles concerning U.S. law, international law, and the domestic laws of countries and regions worldwide.

Submissions Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 1000-5000 words excluding footnotes
  • Citation: The Bluebook – A Uniform System of Citation
