The program is designed to bring together potential scholars from the Northeast who are interested in working in the intersections of law and conflict and/or law and governance.
The program encourages aspirants from various disciplines of study to apply. Mentorship on research methodology and academic writing will be provided at dedicated intervals during the term of the fellowship.
Studio Nilima Research Fellows will spend 6 months working on areas of their research interest, with clearly defined outcomes.
Fellows will be assigned dedicated mentors and will be expected to interact with them through the term of the fellowship; fellows will also participate in workshops and seminars organized as part of the fellowship.
Outcomes which meet international standards, produced over a period of 6 months, will be disseminated through Studio Nilima publication series and other channels, as selected by Studio Nilima.
Term of the Fellowship
June 12, to December 15, 2017
All successful applicants should plan to begin their fellowship between June 10, 2017 to December 30, 2017.
It will not be possible to start the fellowship at a later date. Fellowship will be granted for a period of 6 months.
