We are pleased to inform you that National Law School of India University and Ramaiah College of Law Bengaluru are organizing Two- Day National Seminar on CONSTITUTIONAL QUEST TO UNIFORM CIVIL CODE MIRAGE OR COMPULSION on 17th and 18th March 2017 at Krishnappa hall, NLSIU, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru.
DRAFTING COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS
This seminar also invites student team (of max. five) to prepare a draft on Uniform Civil Code, which should be possible to adopt under Art.44 of the Constitution of India. All members of team must be from the same law school/University.
Competition fee per team: Rs. 2000/

Call for Paper presentations:
Original unpublished research papers are invited from academicians, practitioners, researchers, scholars and students on below mentioned themes and related areas on the broad themes mentioned below.
Best Paper Award: The organisers will select five full papers and issue the Certificate of the Best Paper Award.

Papers should be written in English.
Co-authorship is permitted, subject to a limit of maximum two authors per submission & the registration of fees has to be paid by both authors.
No part of the paper should have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication.

The Registration fee for the Seminar is Rs.1500/-for delegates and paper presenters (separately for author and co-author) forAcademicians/Lawyers/Research Scholars/students.
In case you require accommodation, [first cum first serve basis] an additional amount of Rs.1500/- plus tax as applicable[twin sharing basis] shall be paid by the participants and also make their own travel and conveyance arrangements.
