The NUJS Law Review is inviting submissions on a rolling basis for its upcoming issues. The NUJS Law Review is the flagship law journal of The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, India.


Launched in 2008 as a quarterly journal, the NUJS Law Review is run by a six member Board of Editors.  It has attracted a large number of contributions from students and academics from within India and abroad.

The primary objective behind the inception of the NUJS Law Review has been to provide a forum for rigorous critique and seminal discussion. To promote serious academic research within NUJS, it has an in-house writing and editing team of twenty-four Associate Members, comprising of students from the first year to the fifth year.


All contributions submitted to the Journal should be original and should not be simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere.

We accept submissions on a rolling basis from external contributors.

We accept articles between 4,000 – 15,000 words. The journal is flexible on the word count depending on the quality of the submission. Referencing and citations must be in conformity with the NUJS Law Review Citation and Style Standard. Submissions must necessarily contain an abstract of not more than 200 words.

Authors must indicate their academic qualifications including the degrees completed and the name of the university/institution to which they are affiliated. Co-authoring of papers among individuals of the same or different institutions is permissible.
