Lex Acta is a new bi-annual publication. It focuses on all aspects of law and aims to facilitate students, teachers, scholars and others interested in the field to write articles on various contemporary issues and current trends in law.
Lex Acta invites Articles, Essays, Book Reviews, Case Commentaries and other such for its Volume 1, Issue 1 (July- Nov, 2016).
Submissions are invited from all the Indian nationals, who have zeal and are enthusiastic in exploring this field of law. Submissions are invited for genuine, original and unpublished written works. Contributions are invited in the form of articles, essays, case comments and book reviews.
Academicians, practitioners, researchers, students and others interested in the field may send original, unpublished papers accompanied with an abstract (250-300 words) to email@example.com
The title of the research paper should be appropriate.

The research paper should be original and unpublished.
The paper should not be plagiarized, and should be free from grammatical, spelling and other errors. If any plagiarism detected, authors will firstly be given a chance to rectify, if not, the contribution will be disqualified.
Co-authorship is allowed subject to a maximum of two.
Full names of both the authors along with designation must be given.
Any uniform method for citation may be followed. Preferably Blue Book Citation or Standard Indian Legal Citation.
The body of the paper should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10, single line spacing.
A margin of four centimeters should be left on all sides of the paper.
Page borders should not be used.
The work should be in .docx format.
The respective word limits mentioned should include the abstract.
The abstract should be included in the contribution, in the start with font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, in Times New Roman.
Articles (2500-5000 words including footnotes).
Essays (1000-2500 words including footnotes).
Book Reviews (1000-2000 words including footnotes).
Case Commentaries (1000-3000 words including footnotes). (Word limit is subject to relaxation on the discretion of the Editor).
Lex Acta operates without any theme. Anything related to Law is acceptable. However International matters, like disputed agreements, newly signed treaties or anything alike will be appreciated.
The format of Lex Acta is Print and CD ROM. Contributors, however would be provided with the journal issue in CD. To procure a printed copy, a nominal fees will be charged.

INTIMATION OF ACCEPTANCE
The intimation of acceptance will be within 15 days from the date of the deadline, by 30th July, 2016.
Also the accepted contributors will be required to sign a Copyright Declaration.
