ABOUT US
A question often arises as to what is the difference between criminal law and criminology or between criminal justice and criminology.
DROIT PENALE: INDIAN LAW JOURNAL ON CRIME AND CRIMINOLOGY (ILJCC) aims to resolve this dubiousness by providing a wide range of well researched articles, case notes, commentaries etc. covering the major aspects and issues under the ambit of crime and criminology.
ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
Droit Penale: Indian Law Journal on Crime & Criminology (ISSN 2456-7280), is proudly organizing a National Symposium on Crime & Criminology on 17th September, 2017.
Eminent personalities from various spheres of legal profession will be attending the symposium.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the symposium is to provide a platform to students of various law schools and members of the allied disciplines to have a qualified discussion on various themes revolving around Crime & Criminology.
Through this symposium, we aspire to generate interest of the students in Crime & Criminology and its intricate dynamics. This will also act as a platform for the students to interact with other students of varied disciplines, legal luminaries and the diaspora to Crime & Criminology.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Students, academicians, bureaucrats, professionals, researchers etc. from various fields of Crime & Criminology, allied subjects and multi-disciplinary fields are invited to contribute to the symposium.

400-500 words abstract
3500-5000 words
Font style- Times New Roman
Font size- 12
Font size of footnotes- 10
Line spacing- 1.5
Line spacing for footnotes- 1
Citations style must adhere to the bluebook citation format, 19th edition.
The paper must contain the title of the paper along with author name and affiliation. It must also be particular about the sub theme of the paper.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
The submission may be mailed to symposium.iljcc@gmail.com in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
The file name must contain the name of the author(s) along with affiliation.
Co-Authorship
Co-Authorship up to a maximum of three authors is allowed.
PUBLICATION
Twenty best papers will be shortlisted for publication in a special issue on the official website of DROIT PENALE: INDIAN LAW JOURNAL ON CRIME AND CRIMINOLOGY (ONLINE) ISSN 2456-7280.
