Law Daily is inviting blogs on any contemporary subject matter related to all the areas of law as well as social issues.

About Law Daily

Law Daily is the flagship blog of the Centre for Socio Legal Research which has a viewership of 30,000+ views, the blog takes its cues from the organisation, which keeps its scope broadened to cover all areas of law, both nationally and overseas.

The purpose of the Blog is to provide legal opinions and analyses to our readers on a weekly basis which allows our users to stay up to date on legal developments throughout the world. 

About the Blog

Law Daily welcomes of all kinds of submissions, including (but not limited to) articles, research pieces, policy analysis, opinions, case comments, and short notes on any contemporary subject matter related to all the areas of law as well as social issues.

  • Pieces on political or current events 
  • Analysis of contemporary legal or policy issues
  • Socio-economic, gender, human rights, and cultural issues
  • Analysis of judgments and court orders 
  • Discussions on mental health
  • Reviews of movies, TV shows, and books that are related to legal or human rights issues.

How to Submit?

To submit a post for consideration, fill out the google form.

Submission Guidelines

  • Co-authorship:  Co-authorship of up to two writers is permitted for each article.
  • Word Limit: Each article should be no more than  500 to 1000 words long. 
  • Text Formatting Guidelines: Articles must be typed in Microsoft Word (or an equivalent format).
  • Font Style: Arial, Font Size: 12, Line Spacing: 1.5 
  • References:  All relevant sources of the information/date mentioned in the article must be acknowledged and hyperlinked in the submission’s text. The authors may add footnotes, if necessary.
  • Plagiarism Policy: Submissions should reflect original, unpublished work. The submission may be put through a plagiarism test to check the similarity level and duplicity in the article.
  • Name and Affiliation: A brief description of the Author(s), including full name, affiliation, and email address, should be on the first page, preferably in no more than two sentences.
  • Review Process and Feedback: All the submissions will go through a review. The review process of each manuscript may take up to 10 days, though the Board of Editors shall endeavour to respond back to the author(s) within a week.
