The Center for Criminology & Public Policy (CCPP) is an Indian think tank devoted to research in criminal justice policy and practice. It was established under the stewardship of R Rochin Chandra – a dynamic young criminologist imbued with the spirit of public service.
The Center for Criminology & Public Policy, Udaipur is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Criminologist.
The Assistant Criminologist will work on a range of research and writing projects under the direction of Centers’ Director and assist with other activities of the Center as determined by the Director.
Applications are invited from interested candidates holding a Masters Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Candidates must be highly motivated to work in a demanding think-tank environment that requires excellent research and analysis skills. Candidates with proficiency in writing and quantitative research methods have an added advantage.
Candidates who have studied Criminal Law, Police Science or Social Work in thematic fields of Criminology are also encouraged to apply.
The selected candidate will serve a probation period of 6 months, during which time their work performance and suitability for permanent employment will be evaluated. Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and skill set.
