ARA Law has a two stage selection process. First, your CV is scrutinized and then later, a telephonic interview is conducted by one of the associates.
9:30 am to 6:30 pm, however the exit time can extend up to 7:30 pm depending on the workload and the urgency of the work
First Impression, First Day Formalities, Infrastructure
ARA Law is located in BKC, the commercial complex of Mumbai. The office is on the 10th floor of a fancy building called ‘The Capital’.
The office is very elegant and gives you the feeling of a corporate environment.
All the employees ensure a professional code of conduct, yet being very accommodating and friendly.
Each intern is given a separate work station with a PC. An associate is allotted to every intern, who plays the role of a mentor.
Within a few minutes of getting settled into the office, I was given my work.
ARA Law is a boutique firm which specializes in Corporate Laws, M&A, Private Equity, Real Estate, Capital Markets, Venture Capital and Banking & Finance.
The main tasks assigned to me were legal research, writing articles and compliance.
In addition to that, each intern is given a topic on the first day and they are required to give a presentation on it before or on the last day of their internship.
Work Environment and People
You would be given enough time to complete the work assigned to you.
Though, The firm takes the quality of its work very seriously.
The Associates are very friendly and approachable.
The best thing about this firm is that it gives you a feel of what it takes to excel in the corporate world.
Also, the interns are allowed to be a part of the regular presentations given by associates on the trending commercial regulations which gives you a better chance to understand and interact.
Also, evening Snacks are provided for all the employees including interns.
There isn’t anything bad that I could find about ARA LAW.
