 Main Tasks

The main tasks included research work, assisting in drafting legal opinions, contracts and agreements.

Every intern has to submit an article on the topic allotted to them by their mentor on the commencement of the internship and present the same any time during the internship period.

Another good thing about APL-SLG was that you might get legal research related to any subject, i.e., Corporate Law, Competition Law, IPR, Dispute Resolution, etc.

You get to learn a lot about drafting opinions and writing research articles. The HR team of the firm oversees every intern and makes sure that each and every intern has been allotted some work.

The partners and associates explain the legal propositions very patiently regarding the work allotted whether it be any research work or drafting of documents.

You can directly ask any doubts from the respective partner or the associate.

Overall Experience ?

Seniors and staffs were extremely cooperative and friendly.

I could always approach them with my doubts. I met a lot of clients, took notes. Sir would always advise me on cases and handling issues like confidentiality. The overall experience was worthwhile.

Bad things

Nothing bad at all.

I enjoyed and learned a lot during my internship period.

No Stipend.

Biggest Lessons

I came to know that becoming a successful lawyer needs immense hard work and dedication.
