18th Amity National Moot Court [March 8-10, Noida]: Register by Feb 1

The 18th edition of the Amity National Moot Court Competition will be held between 8th – 10th March, 2019, at F1 Block, Amity University Campus, Sector 125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh – 201303. Amity Law School, Delhi has organized the Annual National Moot Court Competition every year since the past 17 years and the prestigious competition has been judged by distinguished Judges of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and Supreme Court of India.
The moot problem is based on concepts of Criminal Law and Constitutional Law. The competition will seek to integrate practical and legal insight into the spirit of teamwork among the participating students.
Eligibility and Team Composition
All teams shall consist of a maximum number of three participants (two members designated as ‘Speaker’ and one member designated as ‘Researcher’) enrolled as full-time LL.B. students in the law school they represent at the time of the Competition. No person enrolled in a postgraduate law programme may act as a team member. A team must consist of at least two participants (in which case both the members shall be designated as ‘Speakers’).
All teams wishing to participate in the competition shall fill-in the Registration Form. A scanned copy of the same has to be sent via email to [email protected] on or before 23:59 hrs IST, 1st February, 2019. The first 30 teams to be registered will be confirmed of their participation in the competition through email on or before 5th of February, 2019.

Each team shall submit a demand draft for Rs. 3500/- (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Only) in favor of ‘Amity Law School‘ payable at Delhi as Registration Fee. This demand draft must reach the college along with the hard copy of the Registration Form via registered post (acknowledgement due) or speed post latest by 8th February, 2019. Please note that the registration fee will not be refunded after the registration has been accepted by the OC.

Participation will be on first come first served basis only. The maximum number of entries will be restricted to 30.

  4. Release of Clarifications (Regarding the Moot Problem, If Any): 5th February, 2019 (Monday)

  5. Last Date for Submission of Hard Copy of Registration Form and Demand Draft: 8th February, 2019 (Friday)

  6. Last Date for Submission of Soft Copy of the Written Submissions (Memorials): 20th February, 2019 (Wednesday)

  7. Last Date for Submission of Hard Copies of Written Submissions (Memorials): 26th February, 2019 (Tuesday)

  8. Dates for the Competition and Oral Pleadings:8th – 10th March, 2019
