Call for Articles: AmiCode e-Newsletter Volume I, Issue 10 by Amity Law School, Noida: Submit by March 5
The AmiCode: e-Newsletter of Law is now accepting submissions for its upcoming Volume I, Issue 10. AmiCode is the flagship e-newsletter of the Amity Law School, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a bi-monthly, e-newsletter providing insight on the ongoing trends in the legal system on issues that are at the forefront of contemporary legal discourse.
In the previous issues, AmiCode has regularly featured articles, interviews of entrepreneurs in legal field and creative pieces including poems authored by students, faculty and several renowned academics from law universities across India.
Submission Categories
Submissions are accepted for the following categories:
Short Articles: Word Limit is between 500 and 1000 words. Articles in this category are expected to engage with the latest ongoings in the country and offer an innovative reassessment of the current understanding of that theme. It is advisable, though not necessary, to choose a theme that is innovative in nature.
Poems/Short Stories: It is advisable that the writings in this section should not be offensive in any way. It is expected that they are more engaging and are more easily identifiable. Submissions in any of the above categories with relevance to India or Indian law are particularly welcome. This, however, is not a pre-requisite.
Formatting and Citation Guidelines
1) The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 with 1.5 line spacing.
2) There should be no footnotes or citations however at the same time the Submissions should be free from plagiarism.
3) The submissions should include the following in the same word document which has your article/ creative submission: Your Name, Institution, Designation, Course, Year of Study, Program, Contact Number, Email ID and a formal passport size photo is mandatory.
4) The submissions must be in .doc or .docx format
Authors are required to strictly adhere to the submission guidelines of AmiCode.
How to submit?
AmiCode only accepts electronic submissions. Submissions can be email to Dr. Lekha Rani Singh, Assistant Professor, Editor AmiCode, Amity Law School, Noida at lrsingh@amity.edu under the subject heading “Issue 10 AmiCode – Submissions”.
Important
AmiCode accepts submissions on a rolling basis. However, for submissions to be considered for Issue 10, the deadline is March 5, 2019. After this date, it shall be considered for Issue 11.
