Internship Timings

In case you have to leave early or take a day off, you have to inform the HR.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day, we were asked to fill out a form and subsequently we had an interaction with Mr. Yash Mishra, senior partner of the firm. Thereafter, we were allotted research work by the associates.

The firm has recently shifted to its new office in A-2 Neeti Bagh. The office is spread over 2 floors (basement and ground floor).

As far as my first impression, this firm is the place to be! All the associates, senior associates and partners are friendly, helping and fun.

Main tasks

  1. Drafting including counters to SLP’s, Written Statements, Legal Notice
  2. Research; mainly searching of case laws
  3. Briefing seniors and preparing case notes

If you want to visit court, you have to ask any senior to take you along with them. You will have to read up the matter before visiting the court.

Before the internship ends, every intern has to prepare a power-point presentation on topics either allotted by them or self-chosen. This will surely help you improve your presentation skills.

Best things

The most important aspect in an internship is to have helping people around you. The firm has the most humble and helping people associated. The work environment is light and you will be constantly given work and you will surely learn a lot.

Also, there’s a super cute dog named Whiskey you will be constantly accompanied by in the firm.

By the end of the internship, you will realize you can intern here again. By far, it was my best internship, both in terms of the work and environment.
