I saw a call for internship online. I then applied to the organisation along with my CV and immediately received a confirmation.
There were around 20 of us who were selected but by the end of it, the number had drastically reduced.
Duration of internship and timings
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
We were contacted by our head and briefed about our work.
It sounded simple and the day was spent in clarifying doubts and getting a better idea of the work.
The main tasks were to contribute blogs for the website, contact colleges, source research articles and edit or review them.
Work environment and people
The people seemed friendly. Most of the people were cooperative and hardworking.
They were all students from different colleges so it was a great way to meet and network with them.
It ensured that work was done. It helped me prioritize my tasks.
Lethargy was stringently censured and a few interns were removed due do their lackadaisical tendencies.
The work could have been more challenging and rewarding.
In order to motivate the interns, a stipend or additional benefit could have been provided to the ones who performed well.
Overall, its an educating experience.
Its a different and welcoming internship with interesting tasks.
Its an online internship so the issue of accommodation doesn’t arise.
There are no specific timetable to be adhered to. Timings are flexible as long as the work is completed.
