I applied through the online internship form link on their website.
Duration of Internship and timings
1st November, 2016 – 1st December, 2016
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Before the internship began, I was mailed all the rules and regulations of the internships.
Everything was well elaborated before the internship and I was given one week’s time to consider everything and then accept the offer.
The major responsibility I had was of content writing. I had to write one article per week and submit on time.
I had the luxury of choosing my own topic, but everything had to well researched and thought of.
The secondary task was of engaging more people on Facebook page, so invite a certain number of friends to like the page.
Work environment and people
It was great. I had a lot of flexibility throughout the internship.
In the very beginning of internship only I was sent material to guide me through legal research and writing articles so that I don’t feel lost.
Though we had stringent deadlines yet there was a provision of flexi internships, where out of all the tasks I was given, if I were able to finish certain number on time then I could ask for some extension for other tasks.
The best thing about this internship was that I could work and learn my own way.
There were a set of rules given but still I had enough freedom to work according to the best of my abilities.
At any given time if I had doubts, I could consult them and clarify my doubts.
They were also very understanding about the college work load and upcoming semester exams and designed the internship in a way that I had no problems managing both.
I cannot think of anything bad about this internship.
This internship totally enhanced my writing skills. I have better legal knowledge now and I am also capable of researching well than I used to.
Being my 1st internship after entering law school it set the right base for me to formulate and sharpen my abilities.
I had a wonderful time working in this internship.
No, it was an online internship.
Since the internship was online there were no office timings but there strict deadlines for every task that had to be adhere to.
