Application Process with Contact details
One has to mail a CV to the HR email@example.com. In my case, I directly went to the office with CV and I got the opportunity.
Duration of internship and timings
I did the internship during the 4th semester, from 28th March to 25th April 2019. Timings for interns were from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Sundays were holidays. But I did this in after college hours from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, Infrastructure
On the first day, I was introduced to the associates. Then I was asked to fill my name and other details in the excel sheet maintained for the Intern’s Record. Thereafter I was asked to read certain provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. There was also a biometric attendance machine for the attendance of every person working there including interns.
The Office is situated on the 2nd floor at the residence of Mr. Akhil Modi and there was also an ample parking facility for the employees and visitors of the Office. The office was divided into different divisions according to the work done like there is a separate team which deals with consumer matters.
The interns were allotted the division by the HR. There were PCs and intercom installed at each desk. There wasn’t any particular room for the interns, however the interns could sit near the associate under whom they were working. The office is filled with people and everyone
was busy, there were around 90 people working. When I was an intern, there were not a lot of interns so it was good for me to learn closely from associates with whom I was working.
During the internship, I was asked to make replies, rejoinders and evidences in various kind of matters. While giving me work, I was firmly explained about that work by associates and even after the submission of work I was explained about my mistakes in the said work. I was also given research work on various point of law. Sometimes I was asked to translate the consumer complaints from Hindi to English.
Work environment and people
The atmosphere was really pleasant and comfortable to work. The interns are not burdened with any particular work. The associates were really helpful and ready to explain any concept to the interns. The work environment was cool, during my internship I never felt stressed. Also, occasionally the associates would have some fun with the interns.
During my internship, the guidance I got was the best thing. Bhavana Ma’am who was an associate there guided me throughout the internship very well. I got guidance from other associates also. Guidance and mentorship were the best things about the internship. Apart from that, I learned about arbitration proceedings, proceedings under SARFAESI Act and about consumer proceedings.
Nothing of that sort.
No stipend, but the experience worth it.
10 out of 10
In my case, I was living in Jaipur but there are a lot of PGs in Mahesh Nagar so, accommodation is not a problem.
