AIBE XVI 2021 Exam To Not Be Open Book. Only Bare Acts Allowed

Gone are the days when you would see a string of people strolling with a suitcase, entering an exam hall. They would take out humongous books only to find one the answer in the index (that too in the front and not the back one). If you have experienced this, you know it is a story in every room writing the All India Bar Exam.

Maybe to give the students’ back a little break, the Bar Council of India has announced that no books, notes, or study material will be allowed in the exam henceforth. Only Bare Acts without notes will be allowed.

Here is a screenshot of the notification. Sadly, that’s the only proof available online. Such record-keeping for a profession that relies on precedent.
