Duration of internship, timings
One month from 22nd October, 2018 to 16th November, 2018.
Office timings are from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Morning you have accompany sir or any other associate to different courts/tribunals.
First Impression, First Day Formalities:
The office is quite big and is located at 6-3-883/5, Venkat plaza, 6th floor, Punjagutta, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500082.
First day impressions:
On the first day we just had an interaction with learned counsel Muddu Vijay sir(Advocate) and he brief about the things which we were going to do for a said period.
Mainly we interns have to do all the tasks which an advocate do except for appearing before the judge.
We have to work a lot like drafting documents pleadings, appeals, writs etc, researching on the present cases, going to courts and other things.
This is a core litigation firm which handles various cases both civil and criminal, and also relating to Income Tax Appeals.
Work Environment and people:
Work Environment is highly friendly at the firm. Associates/employees are very helpful and will help you without making faces and without any attitude but you have to approach them when you have any doubt to get it clarified.
If you are not aware of anything even then they will help you and explains you everything and will guide you during the court visits. They believe in sharing of knowledge and discussion.
The head of the firm Muddu Vijai sir & K Ramakanth Reddy sir are so kind as he will take you to courts, discuss the legal points of the case which they are going to argue before the judge.
Sir’s also shared some of their law & life experiences and taught me how to present a case in court.
During my internship I had the opportunity to have a discussion with both the sir’s on everyday on different different issues like relating to CRPC, INCOME TAX ACT, CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE.
And moreover this is the place where i found proper way to do research on an particular issue.
Sorry, no such bad things found in my entire month of Internship.
In the profession of law just the knowledge of books is not enough, but the wisdom of utilising the law in correct manner to substantiate our clients case matters.
Not only researching, but discussing about the legal questions pertaining to the case in hand can really make your arguments stronger and will ultimately boost your confidence in court.
