If interested in interning here, one can approach by going to the office and consulting the office staff personally.
I interned during the month of January 2018. The firm is a new startup although Deepak sir is a renowned Supreme Court lawyer having litigation experience of more than a decade. Deepak sir considers intern not just an intern but a team member.
This internship has a lot to say. It offered me a complete and a dedicated insight into being a law student. Work is given on the very first day itself.
Interning here generally involves getting into litigation and approaching the courts on the concerned matters. Interns are generally guided to visit the courts on the days of a case listed in the respective courts. This may involve assisting the senior lawyers or finding out relevant case laws for them (research work) once the work of the court gets over, interns are expected to reach the office.
Interns usually become a part of the client conferencing as well, which gives a positive feeling about being an intern with such a big office. Discipline as regards to the timings are appreciated in the office and even in the courts. The Court visits generally involve going to the district Courts, attending Supreme Court proceedings and Delhi High Court.
They treat the interns really well and there are no bad things regarding interning here.
Stipend: No, but the attention you get as an Intern suffices it all.
I would say that if you want your internship period to be worth than you should definitely go for this firm.
Disclaimer: Internship experiences are opinions shared by individual law students and tend to be personal and subjective in nature. The internship experiences shared on Lawctopus are NOT Lawctopus official views on the internship.
