6 days of work. The timing is from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. On Saturday, there is less amount of work as advocates do not go to courts, hence, the timing for work is less.
Accommodation: how, where, how was it?
I stayed at my relatives’ home. Though it was far from the court and the office but i had no other choice. Therefore I stayed at my relatives’ house.
First impression. First day, formalities etc.
At very first day i directly went to the court. I was introduced with the other associates and juniors and there I came to know that two of the juniors were of my college only.
I was assigned with one of the associates and the juniors attached with the particular associate. Then, as usual the petty work was divided amongst the juniors as seniors would only go for major work.
I accompanied my college seniors with all the daily routine of submitting documents and all the other necessary procedure related to the cases.
The main task was to get the documents ready and file the necessary documents before the court.
In evening we used to arrange all the cases and prepare the documents of the cases that are to be dealt on the very next day.
The ambience of the office was quite comfortable.
The boss of the office was little bit strict about the work but otherwise he was friendly in nature. Also, other associates were chilled about their work because they used to do all their work without any delay.
The office of each associate was connected to each other, hence it was easy to get the work done.
The office was very near from the trial court. Also, one will find a very cooperative and helpful atmosphere. My associate was very calm and had a good experience of his life. He used to explain everything calmly and practically.
Depends on the mood of the boss.
