We are delighted to inform you that this year also Lloyd Law College will be organizing the Third Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC Mooting Competition & Law Students’ Conference, 2017-18 from 16th to 19th February, 2018 in collaboration with Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training (MILAT) and SAARCLAW.
This competition and the students’ conference are conducted annually and primarily aim to promote quality legal education and facilitate academic exchange in the South Asian Region.
The competition will witness participation from eight SAARC Nations, i.e., India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The Third Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC Mooting Competition and Law Students’ Conference will have two stages: India Round and the SAARC Round. Every year India Rounds are organized to select the five best teams from India to represent the country in the SAARC Rounds.
This year the India Rounds will take place from 27th to 29th October, 2017 and around 50 law schools across the country will compete to qualify as the five best teams. The Best five team will represent India in the SAARC Rounds.
The SAARC Rounds will be organized from 16th to 18th February, 2018 followed by an educational trip to the Taj Mahal on the 19th February, 2018. At least 14 teams representing 8 SAARC countries will participate in SAARC Rounds.

The registration fee is waived for the SAARC participants. The local logistics, including local travel, accommodation and other necessities will be borne by the Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, India.
