School of Law and Constitutional Studies (SLSC) is a constituent department of Shobhit University.SLSC intends to introduce students to the study of law with an emphasis on Constitutional law. The school focuses on legal studies with an understanding on how constitutional rules affect political and economic processes.
About the Event
School of Law and Constitutional Studies (SLSC), Shobhit University, Meerut is organising its 2nd National Moot Court Competition.
The Moot Proposition will be based on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Venue: School of Law and Constitutional Studies (SLCS), Shobhit University, Meerut
Date: 10 -11 April 2020
Student’s duly enrolled and pursuing 3 years or 5 years undergraduate law course from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India may apply to participate in the competition.
Each institution seeking to participate may send a maximum of one (1) team to represent that institution.
A team may consist of a maximum of three (3) members. Such team shall include two (2) orators and one (1) researcher.
Prizes and awards
Last year we received a total 40 entries from various reputed Law colleges. The winning team was awarded a trophy and 31000/- cash prize. Runner up team was awarded 21000/- cash prize and trophy.
Registration fee is of 5000/- for each participating team consisting of 3 members (with decent accommodation) Institutions seeking to register may fill the google form attached with the pre-invitation.
