School of Policy and Governance, Azim Premji University is Looking for Interns

The School of Policy and Governance (SPG) at Azim Premji University offers internships for students who have a keen interest in research on areas of law, governance, public policy and development.

Interns will be attached to ongoing research projects at SPG and will be mentored by a faculty member. Interns will be expected to assist on both substantive and administrative areas of work in ongoing research projects that faculty members are engaged in.

Internships at SPG will involve rigorous research, writing and field assistance. Therefore, applicants must be able to demonstrate strong research and writing skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with aggressive deadlines.

Internships will be offered for a minimum period of four weeks and maybe extended upon further deliberation. Applicants must be able to commit to staying in Bangalore for the entire duration of their internship and must be willing to travel on work if required.

Additionally, applicants are expected to coordinate their stay and travel for this duration. Please note that the University will not fund stay or travel for applicants, however applicants will be reimbursed for any travel undertaken during the course of their internship with us.

Eligibility

We offer internships for students currently studying law, politics, economics or other disciplines in social sciences.

Please note that we do not accept internship applications from first or second year students enrolled in a B. A. LLB program.
