I once took n online course from Thompson Reuters. That was a total disaster. Since then i’m kind of skeptical about these courses.

I addressed this issue of not able to download the reading material, to the concerned quite a lot of time..but everytime they used to say that “OUR POLICIES” are like this only and we cannot let anyone download the material..

I’m doing this course. So far, i’ve had a pretty good experience. Course material is good IMO. Ya sometimes the reading material and videos take a little time to load, but the study material is better than i’ve seen in most places. As for results, senior of mine had taken this course last year… in Dec, i think. She got into Trilegal and she told me the course stuff really helped her. So am hoping it’ll help me as well.

      • Are you alright? says:

Seems like this person is not in his/her senses?
What are you talking about?? Got into Trilegal cuz the senior took up the course..hhahaa
u r a funny person I must say and far away from reality

        • administrator says:

Well, what the commenter wants to say is that the MyLaw’s course helped her senior get the Trilegal job, that doing the course was an important factor in her getting the job (more knowledge, practical knowledge etc.)

And knowing MyLaw’s ‘quality’, it sure is real. 🙂

PS- yes MyLaw advertises on Lawctopus, but I guess one ought to say what one feels is right.

OK admin..so what do you have to say about my very first comment in that case
I think you have not taken the course, because I know the whole bunch of pupil who enrolled and were not satisfied with whatever course they took up
Moreover, since I have done many other courses from other institutes as well..so I know, that the POLICIES and the QUALITIES could have improved!

          • administrator says:

I am not doubting the veracity of the 1st comment.

And yes, everything ‘can’ improve. 🙂

          • Anonymous says:

And ofcourse Admin, just because u advertise rainmaker doesn’t mean that u are not supposed to put forth your views and opinions! 😉

My previous comment would have helped a lot of students in deciding whether to go for the course or not. And it was removed and not published. This is not fair. Atleast, this wasn’t expected out of Lawctopus

    • administrator says:

Sorry, yesterday was a Sunday, and the ‘admin’ woke up late. Pardon the delay, sire.

      • Anonymous says:

        Haha!!
        Its alright admin!
actually could not even see that my comment was under moderation. So I just thought that you removed it
Apologies from my side admin! 🙂

I took up two courses from mylaw.net and when I got myself enrolled, I thought the course will be good and helpful. But, surprisingly, this wasn’t the case. Their study material isn’t sufficient at all. As in just an 8-9 page material in a module for a subject like drafting, strange, Isn’t it?
More surprisingly, one cannot download their material. Seriously? Are you kidding me? Are we computers that everything is gonna get stored in our memory forever? And one can access their reading material only when they have a HI-SPEED internet connection (Else, sit and wait for 2-3 minutes for every page to load). Also we are not third standard students who will pen down each and everything and then start studying (We have other works and stuffs as well). And Oops, how can I forget, the footer of each and every page clearly mentions that “REPRODUCTION OF THIS MATERIAL IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER WILL ATTRACT CRIMINAL CHARGES”
Woah! again something which is very much weird and strange in itself.
And seriously, I have tons to say about the results…..
Summarily, this is a completely profit making body and are not at all student friendly. They just don’t care about the benefit of the student, all they care about is to protect their material so that no one else can access it.
