Moily in HNLU: Technology Courts and World Class Law Schools

Sri M. Veerappa Moily was in the Learning Halls of HNLU Raipur on September the 29th to talk about his ambitious Second Generation of Legal Reforms consisting of: Expansion, Inclusion and Excellence. Sri Moily firmly believes that mediocrity has no place. He endeavors to give us world class infrastructure in our colleges and much more:

The Introduction of Technology Courts

Sri Moily since long has been a pioneer of technology. The Law Minister has himself short listed a team of HC judges which will leave for Singapore on 4th Oct 2010 and study the concept and working of Technology Courts.

They will come back and help design the same in every HC of India. With the help of Information Technology, the Ministry of Law and Justice also hopes monitor the national litigation policy.

Towards World Class Infrastructure in Law Colleges

The Second Generation Reforms will see establishment of 955 law colleges in the country. Another 14 national law schools are also in the pipeline. It also aims to establish four centers of Regional Research and Training which will work towards generating quality faculty output.

Mr. Moily is also working hard towards the successful enactment and implementation of The Judges Standards and Accountability bill.
