IPRI (Intellectual Property Research Institute) is a non-profit organization dedicated for the purpose of education, research, analysis and development; destined to promote understanding, training, and awareness of several domains of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, geographical indications (GI), and copyright to the students with required backgrounds as per Indian law.

IPRI is intended to cooperate and assist different government agencies and undertakings, Universities, autonomous bodies, legal entities, and other organizations in research and development of various fields in science and technology.

A substantial portion of the students and trainees are selected from backward and underprivileged sections of the society with due scholarships, and partial or complete waiver of tuition fees, selected by Institute of Patent Attorneys (IPAI), a unit of IPRI.

IPRI has now launched an Internship cum Patent Training Program.
