They take 2 interns at a time.
The first day we were introduced to the managing partner Advocate Mahua Roy who had a small introductory session with us & spoke to us regarding our expectations from the internship & explained to us her expectations from us.
She was very polite and made us feel comfortable.
Main tasks (in detail)
1. Research work regarding the various IPR Cases
2. Involvement in the entire process of drafting and planning the IPR applications
3. When free we were encouraged to read the IPR Acts.
Work environment, people
The work atmosphere is relaxed but disciplined. The associates are extremely friendly and Mahua Madam too is very polite with each one of the team (including interns)
1. Relaxed Atmosphere
3. Tea twice a day
4. You are involved in all processes and allowed to learn fully.
The atmosphere gets a bit too relaxed when Mahua Madam is not around…. well that’s not exactly bad but it’s the only point I could think of.
What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues
Well as I said, the associates are extremely friendly & plus I had a lovely co-intern. So we would all chill during our lunch and snacks. we would order from the nearby stalls or sometimes even from Subway.
Anything else you’d like to tell
Excellent firm with great potential for an intern to learn.
I wish I had put a little more efforts to learn.Read More
