Duration of internship and timings

Duration of my internship was from 3rd April, 2015 to 5th May, 2015 (4 weeks).

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

As its always said first impression is the last impression, so you have to be on time i.e. 9:30-10:00 AM. You need to be in formals and well dressed. Apart from all this you are required to bring your CV which is to be presented at the reception in order to make a record.

Office has three branches, I was working at the South-Extension-II. It was decent office of two floors well managed.

Main tasks

I did this internship in my 6th semester, so I was given work which included research on areas of Recovery of Debts due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, Criminal Procedure Code, Negotiable Instruments Act. I also drafted various Documents, Plaints, Complaints, Notices and Affidavits.

Work environment and people

Work environment is friendly. Associates and Partners are very coordinating and they make sure that you learn at the end of the day.

Best things

You have unlimited Coffee and my favourite Green Tea just a call away.

They also gave me a lunch party on my first day.

The office is quite close to Ansal Plaza so you can have lunch there whenever you want.

Bad things

As I was from Bangalore, it was difficult for me to adjust in the “hot” weather and the Air Conditioner temperature made me sick. Apart from that there is no shortcoming.

Stipend

No Stipend

Biggest Lessons

This internship was very fruitful as i learnt how to draft various documents which are essential part of every law education.
