Application Process

I approached him personally and was awarded an internship.

Duration of internship and timings

1st – 30th June,2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First impression: I think it was not as good as students dreamed. On the very first interaction, junior of sir, advocate Deepak bisht sir told me to put my tie properly. I was feeling little bit nervous. But at all it was my good experience in front of such a senior advocate.

There are not as such formalities done on the very first day.

Main tasks

Our main task was to reach court early from our senior and there juniors hand over their case files which are dated on that day.

We have to study the files and made our own opinions or suggestions noted in our diary which later we have to show to our senior.

We visited several courts to watch the hearings.

Work environment and people

Work environment was pleasant and motivate us to do our best and inspires a lot also. As I was in a team of my batchmates doing internships they were also cooperative and helpful to each other which encourages us to work.

Best things

Best thing was my sir. If done any mistake my senior politely tells about our mistakes and loopholes in the work which encourages me more to work with him.

Bad things

As I consider as an intern, we are no one to notice bad things, as we stand no where in front of these senior advocates. But on behalf high court there is smooth and controlled working.

Stipend

None

Biggest Lessons

What we study from books doesn’t mean a little, what we learn from practical made a lot for us. Because the working different from which we study from our books.

Any Other Thing

I literally enjoyed my internship, and in future planning my practice there.

We do NOT edit internship experiences for language. We’ve said this repeatedly. The words used by the writer lets his/her personality ‘show’ in the write-up thus helping our readers make informed choices…the readers can inquire…is the ‘voice’ trustworthy? Is the write-up written by a frustrated intern? An intern told by the firm to write something ‘positive’ about the firm?
