How big was the office? Team strength?

They have separate building which consists of three floors in which ground floor has one library and 1st floor consists of all the offices of higher authorities and 2nd floor has different departments which includes complaint cell, and NRI cell and also one more library.

First two floors are quite specious but 2nd floor is untidy because all the files and documents are keep there.

Application procedure. Internship contact details

I have mailed my CV on the given website.

All the information and contact details are available on internet so you can easily search for it.

Accommodation: how, where, how was it?

I stayed in PG which is situated in Lajpat Nagar and there is no dearth of PG in Lajpat Nagar.

It was very good as well as cheap and the best thing was that my PG was situated in the market so those are fond of shopping or eating that will be the perfect place for them.

You can easily get transportation with many options which includes metro also the nearest metro station to that place is Moolchand metro station.

First impression. First day, formalities etc.

There is nothing like that first impression remains for last for first day you will be assigned with no work, you are just suppose to sit in the library and asked to read reports and NCW act.

Main tasks

You will provided with separate coordinator who will assigned work to you like to read complaints and to categories those complaints filling BTR and filling ATRs and you will get opportunities to attend counseling and proceedings and to counsel complainants.

Work environment, people

Co-ordinators are very helpful and very friendly they will treat you as your junior and they also share their experience with you and you can ask any doubt no matter how small it is, you will get a lot of things to learn.

Best things?

Working environment, all coordinators and also Saturdays are off and in working days if you have any important work you can take half day off or you can go for leave of full day also.

It is not necessary to stick by time if you are late also then also it is good.

Bad things?

No access to WiFi and under one coordinator three interns were assigned there was only one computer so one had to sit idle or can go to the library spend time by reading books or newspaper.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues

We use to get one hour break for lunch and they have their own canteen which was not that good but there was no scarcity of shops outside of building and coordinators use to share their lunch with interns and sometimes it also happened that coordinators use to treat interns or vice versa.

Stipend/month

No

Anything else you’d like to tell; Biggest lessons

Don’t be restless and be alert all the times because only few interns get chance to attend the proceedings, for becoming those few you need to in contact with your coordinator related to the dates of the proceedings.
