First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I got allotted the Suo- motto cell but i got it changed to complaints and investigation cell. On day one we were given some complaints to read.

Main tasks

The main tasks of Complaint and investigation cell is to read the complaints, categorise them, fill BTRs and ATRs, reply to RTIs. You would mostly end up filling BTRs and reading complaints that too majority in Hindi.

I, after trying all the above work, requested to switch cells. Apart from Complaint Cell, I worked under NRI Cell, Suo-Motto Cell and legal cell.

Work environment and people

The working environment is average.

Best things

I got to work under all the cells of NCW.

Got to know how sarkari offices work.

Loved the chai. This chai wale uncle would be so generous and keep supplying you with tea in the cold winters of Delhi.

Bad things

The work, I felt was not productive.

Stipend

None

Any Other Thing

There were too many interns and barely any work. You may end up arranging the files or finding a single sheet of paper in huge piles of paper.
