I applied through my contacts.

Duration of internship and timings

11th – 30th July, 2016

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The office is situated on the ground floor and there is a fully functional kitchen over it. There were no first day formalities. The office has a labrador as an additional member. 😛

Main tasks

The main tasks included daily court visits to the Gurugram district court as well as consumer courts in Delhi along with the High Court of Delhi. If you are serious enough in your work, you can be asked to draft petitions, applications and file them in the court (of course after getting them verified by your seniors).

Work environment and people

You are free to use the office accessories. The associates there brief you in advance about the office atmosphere. Everybody is too helping, be it tasks at the court during a court visit or taking a print out from the printer. 😛

Best things

The office staff is too helpful. Even you can fix a meeting with Sanjeev Sir and get a right path. The atmosphere there is fun-loving.

Bad things

NA

Stipend

I was paid Rs. 3000 for three weeks.

Biggest Lessons

I learnt how to file a Winding-up petition, which I feel, is not what you learn in general.

Overall Rating

8

Accommodation

I live in Delhi. So had my vehicle to ferry me time and again.

Office Timings

The official timings are 10 am – 6 pm from Monday to Friday. The firm is very lenient and friendly with the interns. However, Sir is available in the office on Saturday’s. So you can affix a meeting with him for a casual talk or pending official works.
