I got into this internship through my resume. You are required to send your resume and within a week they will respond to your resume.

Duration in weeks. No. of days/week. Timings

My duration for internship was in the month of August starting from 1st and the timings are also very suitable. It was from 11-7. It was working for us on Saturdays as well.

Accommodation: how, where, how was it?

Since I stay in Mumbai, so accommodation for me was not a problem.

First impression. First day, formalities etc.

My first day was very chilled out, I didn’t have much work and the partners were also very chilled out. On the very first day I was taught so many things. There were no as such formalities. It had a very friendly environment.

Main tasks

The main task in which I was involved with was general corporate and Real Estate, I have also got drafting of various documents which I didn’t get in my previous internships. People who are interested in IPR, Corporate, Mergers & Acquisition, good exposure in this firm.

Work environment, people

My seniors were really good. They helped me a lot as I was not interested in Corporate law but working with this firm actually made me realize that corporate law can be interesting too.

Best things

The best thing which I learnt in this internship was that until and unless you don’t get any work pressure you will not be able to give your best, it actually taught me I should be patient and be focused on what I am doing.

Bad things

Only bad thing was that no good food point over here.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues

There were many good places near office to chill, even many Fridays we went with our associates also.

Stipend/ month

Unpaid internship, but you get to learn a lot.

Anything else you’d like to tell

Working in a small firm gives you more exposure and also helps to develop a keen interest in law more closely.

Biggest lessons

Learnt a lot of drafting in the fields of corporate laws, IPR and as well as real estate.
