Main tasks

It was mainly a field job .The main task which I was entrusted with was Fundraising.

There are different teams consisting of 4 to 5 people who have to go to the streets, malls or different companies and had to give presentations of the ongoing campaigns of Greenpeace and collect funds and conduct different activities such as making small stuffs out of waste.

Work environment and people

The work environment of Greenpeace Pune is very friendly an intern would not feel an intern I got the same treatment as that of the employees and very good friends.

Best things

The best thing about Greenpeace internship is that you will yourself wont know how gradually your public speaking has improvised.

In the job of fundraising you tend to meet ‘n’ number of people everyday coming from different background and different mental state so the communication improves automatically because I had to analyse the person and had to interact with them accordingly.

And the other best thing was that it was my 1st internship and it was stripped.

Bad things

Well I didn’t find anything such bad.

Stipend

200 per day.

Biggest Lessons

Everyone cannot afford foreign degrees or could bear the expenses of college there were some people who did not had much of a great qualification but had a good reputation in this field so the biggest lesson that I learnt was that life is not what you want but life is what you make it.

The determination and courage of the employees taught me a great lesson of endeavour and struggle and dust off the problems in every way possible.
