How big was the office? Team strength?

The Gnarus Partners office is nice and spacious.

It is located in the posh area of GK 2.

Application procedure. Internship contact details.

I emailed my CV to their office email id a j[email protected] and received a quick confirmation email within a weeks time.

First impression. First day, formalities etc.

There were no formalities.

Apart from the introductions and what’s kept where, I was assigned work immediately.

Main tasks

Every day there were new assignments, completely living up to their motto of every day is different.

My work, though purely corporate, ranged from research for case laws to drafting of agreements and research notes.

Work environment, people

The work environment was relaxed. There was no pressure to get everything right.  I was encouraged to be critical in everything I do, which always made me do my work thoroughly.

I was always provided a background to the case for which I was researching or drafting a document. It helped me to submit a better document.

This is not always the case with most firms, as they just give the work to be completed without any head or tail.

Best things?

The approach to working. It was casual with respect to the office and timings, but not to the work.

Everything was read, scrutinized and feedback was given. They were always ready to explain and re-explain everything to you, instead of getting frustrated with the “intern who knows nothing.”

They had advice for you, at every step of the way; explaining how and why the things were done in a particular way.

Everyone was always smiles in the office, I think that was the best thing.

And the bhaiya who was always ready with tea or coffee for you.

Bad Things

At the time of my internship, we were only two interns, so it would get boring when there were dull days; though rare. We never wanted to venture out in the Delhi heat, so that was the only bad thing for me.

Also, I would have liked to interact with Mr. Rishi more, but since he was travelling a lot during my internship period, sadly it was not possible.

What did you do to chill?

The M- Block market is nearby, where you can chill if you want.
