First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office was smaller than my hostel store room since it was chamber.
There was no such formality on first day; only introduction.
Read case files and make notes.
Rarely were we asked to do some research otherwise we were just carrying their files to court.
Work environment and people
In my opinion, work environment was about gossiping.
Office clerks will gosipping about the lawyer how he is under paying and how he is. Whole day they gossiped and maybe even about us too.
Best thing was we saw High Court proceedings for winding up of companies.
We learned cross examinations skills too when my lawyer practiced in Patiala House Court.
There was little work to do for the interns. Whole day the interns would sit idle.
1. Don’t intern with lawyers if they are not related to you.
2. Avoid talking to office people who indulge in useless talks. They are waste of time
