Name of Organisation, Location, Team Strength

Jaideep Verma and Associates, Vadodara, team strength of 7

Application Process

I mailed Advocate Jaideep Verma and was replied to within a day. I was asked to meet him in his office the next day.

Sir asked me few questions and I was admitted as an intern for a month.

Duration of internship and timings

Initially, I was supposed to be interning for a month, but later sir called me and asked me if I wanted to intern permanently under him.

As I am a resident of Vadodara itself and could afford spending the evening hours after my college for something worthwhile, I have now joined sir as a permanent intern, working with him from 3-8, 6 days a week.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Sir’s office is located on the 3rd floor of a commercial building in a posh locality in Vadodara. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis Law School, Pune and an ex-associate of Crawford Bayley & Co.

I fell in love with his personality from the very first day, and as I keep telling everybody- I’m in awe with him.

Main tasks

As opposed to my main task of research work in my previous internships, at Jaideep Verma and Associates I finally took to drafting and attending client meetings.

That is not it, I go to the district court to file an RTI or a caveat.

I am given to draft replies, affidavits and even petitions and applications sometimes.

Work environment and people

The work environment is nothing less than AMAZING. There are very intellect associates working under sir, who keep me busy with something or the other.

If there isn’t any work for me, they ask me something related to a particular field of law and keep my brain cells churning all the time.

I have a senior in college who also works under sir and he turns out to be very helpful.

Best things

Work environment and the different cases that I get to see here are definitely the brownie points of working under Jaideep Sir.

Stipend

Rs.  2500.

Biggest Lessons

The biggest lesson would definitely be the art of drafting.

Also, Sir has taught me how to deal with different clients, fulfilling their demands and never disappointing them.
