FIRST IMPRESSION, FIRST DAY, FORMALITIES ETC.

My first impression was on the day I came to give my interview. The place was filled with the tokens of achievements by Mr. Anupam Tripathi in the form of News Articles, Certificates and Photos. That made a very strong and positive impression on me.

My first day at work was a reality check for me. Since it was my first experience working in a firm, I got to know about the day to day working of a legal firm. I was entrusted with important work from day one itself which further motivated me to work hard.

MAIN TASKS

The main tasks were research on various topics ranging from environmental research, animal activism and various case laws, briefing, drafting, preparing case notes along with regular court visits in ITAT, DCDRFs, NCDRC, District Courts, Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

Apart from that, I also worked for an NGO run by Mr. Anupam Tripathi named Fight For Animal Rights, India (FFAR) which aims at protection and welfare of animals through High Impact litigation in Courts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PEOPLE

Very friendly, jovial and extremely positive environment. All the associates and interns work in harmony and good spirit. Anupam sir guides us in every possible manner, and even if you do a mistake, you would be corrected and guided so you do better in future.

BEST THINGS

The best think working there was to share the same passion and enthusiasm for animal welfare and animal protection considering the fact that Anupam Sir is a big animal welfare activist.

Apart from gaining experience in different areas of law, I also learned a lot in the field of PILs and SLPs.

In the end I would like to say, if you are an animal lover, this might be the best place to learn and contribute.

BAD THINGS

None.

STIPEND/ MONTH

Rs. 4,500/-

BIGGEST LESSONS

To work hard, have compassion not only for humans but also the animals who cannot fight for their own rights.
