First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On first day we were briefed about the NGO and its working. No dress code was to be followed.

Main tasks

Main task was to prepare ppts on the intervention. Work on the policies of NGO. We also helped in making posters for an event.

Work environment and people

Everybody was helpful and the ambiance was positive. The office provided WiFi connectivity and spare laptop if you need it for some work and not carrying yours.

Best things

Mr. Allan Anderson who is the programme manager is one of the best thing about Chetanalaya. He would tell you what is exactly required and appreciate your ideas and efforts. It not only provided us insight into working of an NGO but also instilled hope that some NGOs really work .

No bad things as such.

Efficiency is the key. Give your best in whatever you are doing. Be creative and learn new things, it will be always an asset.

Accommodation

I live in Dwarka only and used to commute by metro. The nearest metro station is RK Ashram Marg. You can take a rickshaw which will take u to the office within 5 mins. The office is at Bhai Vir Singh marg in front of Saint Columbus school.

Office Timings

10 am to 5 pm.It can extend if you are opt for field visits or depending upon the work at hand. Be on time!
