First Impression, First Day Formalities, Infrastructure
On my first day, since I reached before time, I was taken to meet the Founding Partner, Mr. Rajesh Begur, after which I was shown my desk. The office is highly professional. I was introduced to all the Associates and co-interns and given a tour of the office along with a briefing on the rules and regulations.
I was provided with a separate working desk and computer along with ARA Law notepad.
Since the firm specializes in corporate law, research work was given on Mergers, Alternate Investment Funds and Company Law mainly.
I also received an elaborate research into the Copyrights Law, which was something, which was a first of its kind in India.
Work Environment and People
The firm has a professional attitude towards work. Most of the associates are friendly and explain the mistakes committed by the interns.
The interns are valued and are given substantial work.
All the associates, interns and other staff is provided with snacks in the evening. This to me shows that the firm values the people working under them, which is always a good quality in a potential employer.
There is no such bad thing about ARA Law.
