First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The first day saw a bunch of us interns, mixed with different age groups were gathered.For most of us, it was first social commitment to the values of community.

Later, I was given the task of interacting with the children who were mentally or physically challenged.

After a week the basic task was to record the books for the blind children.

Main tasks

Recording books, and field work like survey of the slum areas and get information about anyone who is mentally or physically challenged.

Work environment and people

The environment is quite friendly, they will not treat you as an intern but as a whole time member of the NGO.

Caring and loving by through of sharing foods and having best time with these kiddos.

Best things

The best thing for me it was my childhood was revived again which was lost when I joined college.

Plus, Interaction with children who are not physically and mentally but still are happy.They teach us how the face challenges and keep a smile on the face always.

Bad things

The coordinators hadn’t specify the main task in depth.

Biggest Lessons

Learning doesn’t stops anywhere it should be go on till you are breathing. Knowledge should be shared anytime and anywhere.
